Grace Peck

Certified Animal Behavior Therapist
She/Her

Grace fell into animal training when she adopted a hairy family member with behavior concerns. Her volunteer work at shelters and rescues led her into assisting in veterinary medicine.

Grace is committed to improving inter-species communication between humans and the animals in their lives. She has worked with cats, dogs, chickens, parrots, rabbits, goats, llamas, and even a banana slug. She currently specializes in helping cats, dogs and birds gain coping skills to find independence from Separation Anxiety, confidence in the face of fear, and the patience to turn away from aggravating situations.

Grace continues to volunteer at shelters and rescues. She loves doing canine nosework, making cat toys with garden materials for her feline nieces, and sitting under her apple tree getting mugged for treats by her hens.

Olive Pitt

My teacher, my therapist, & my muse from 2010 to 2022. She taught me patience and compassion for myself. I am alive because of her.

What do all the letters mean?

The pet training and behavior industry has no standard or licensing requirement. That means anyone with any background can call themselves a trainer or behaviorist.

The letters are in some ways just letters. Having them doesn’t necessarily mean that I am a better trainer. However they are a short-cut to understanding what education and affiliations are important to me.
